Have a look behind the scenes of a Viennese family and its history, from the old imperial times to today. Come explore the famous Viennese Schnapsmuseum and enjoy a tour with an extensive tasting!
Founded as an old Viennese master craftsman company in 1875, to this day the Schnapsmuseum is still a specialist for high-quality spirits and liqueurs made following old, traditional family recipes.
Operated by the Fischer family for 6 generations, they provide visitors insight into the tradition of the distillery businesses as well as in the history and life of a typical Viennese family since the imperial era.
The entrance fee is EUR 7.00 per person and includes a half-hour, entertaining tour as well as an extensive tasting (guests who do not drink alcohol, are welcome to enjoy our real raspberry juice). The entire visit at the Schnapsmuseum lasts about an hour. We offer tours in German, English and French.
For bus tour groups, there is a bus zone directly in front of the museum entrance. We also offer special tours for school groups.
Please note that we can not provide unannounced individual tours. The Schnapsmuseum can be visited by appointment only.
